Hello everybody, I'm Juan Pablo
I am new to the forum, I moved to the USA a little over 2 months ago, from Mexico city on a K1 VISA, I already married my wonderful wife, Kate, and now we are waiting for AOS/EAD/AP (haha my wife is here telling me all these "SECRET CODES" that she claims you all will understand).
Anyway, it's been nice to read some of the topics here, I think that in the next days I will spend a lot of time here reading and hopefully getting to know some people.
But well the purpose of my post is to see if I can find people in the bay area who are going through the whole adjustment deal, cause I must admit that sometimes it has been really hard for me, specially when I have to be alone and with nothing to do and when making friends here has been harder than I expected, so if anybody is around I would really love meeting you, I think that it could be very helpful to have somebody that can understand what I am going through at the moment.
Anybody is welcome to contact me whether you live in the bay area or not (GOD BLESS COMPUTERS), I just want some people to talk and share experiences with.
Have a nice weekend!!!

Thanks for the welcome

Hey Juan Pablo,
Bienvenidos!
We also live in San Jose, and my husband is from Spain. He also feels a little homesick sometimes. He is already a permanent resident but he'd love someone to talk to (I think!).
Let me know if you'd live to get together. We are in South San Jose.
Talk to ya soon!
