I know there's a thread for July filers and so far all those who have posted there have indicated their applications were forwarded to CSC.

So, I'm wondering if any August filers have received any NOAs yet and if there is any indication that their files were transferred also.

I have not received an NOA YET but my file has been transferred to CA.
I can see it on the back of the check (from internet) on their stamp it is barely readable but we saw it.
I posted a few minutes ago my timeline... Package sent to TSC on August 7th Received on August 9th Express Mail - 2nd attempt - Check cashed today August 28th - so roughly 2 weeks (by the time file is transferred from TSC to CA count another couple of days)
I will post again when I receive an NOA.
Hope this helps.

Yay! Thanks for your info Chanchan! good.gif

Hope to see the trend of transferring to CSC continues.

Filed our I-751 on Aug. 8, received on Aug. 11 TSC has still not cashed the check. I'm hoping its on its way to CSC as they've been pretty quick with approvals.

Hi Alie,

Hopefully you'll be getting your NOA soon. Latest Receipting Times update from USCIS shows that TSC has issued receipts for applications received on or before 8/16/07. On the other hand CSC says they're done with files received on or before 8/14/07.

Thank you for starting this thread, that link was very informative!
We will be mailing our file tomorrow or saturday, we sure hope to be tranferred to CSC, but don't know if that's still happening. We'll see, I guess...right now we just can't wait to mail it and get done with it! whistling.gif

Let's keep each other updated!

Thank you for giving us the link ... on the news from USCIS and the different timeline of what is processed and when.
They speak for I-751 NOA of a Notice Date and a Receipt Date...
Where is the Receipt Date I can only see a Notice Date ????????
Thank you

Ok, I'm starting to get worried now. It's been 3 weeks since my I-751 was received at TSC and the check has still not been cashed. Anyone else still waiting for their check to clear?

I too sent the I-751 package around the same date you did, and my check hasn't been cashed in yet. Guess it's back to playing the waiting game with the USCIS folks sad.gif

P.S. Ignore the timeline in my sig. I haven't logged in VJ for almost 2 years LOL
JennySala
Well it has been almost two years since Jenny got her two year GC...........so here we are again at VisaJourney......hello all....hard to belive we are at it again.....

No word from TSC yet so don't know if TSC or CSC will process......but add us to the list of "wait and see".

Good luck to all

Update: My check for the I-751 was finally cashed on 9/10/07 and has been transfered to CSC. It took about 4 weeks for the check to clear. I'm relieved the check was finally cashed, I was beginning to worry that I would get my package back in the mail. Now lets just hope we don't get an RFE in the mail and CSC processes everything fairly quickly.

Another update: received my NOA1 in the mail this afternoon. Funny thing is the NOA was dated 8/13/07, wonder why its taking so long to cash the checks and mail out the NOA's.

Glad to hear you got your NOA!

The memo from USCIS said that applicants will not suffer from the delay they are having in keying in the data. So, they are using the actual date the mail was received by the service center as the Receipt Date on the NOA, regardless of what date they got to completing the date entry and producing the paper NOA. That's why so many people are reporting NOA receipt dates that are a day after they mailed out their applications.
Alie
Well got my NOA1, but when I tried to set up for automatic email updates from USCIS, it says my receipt # is invalid, so I am unable to check my case status online. Should I be worried? Or do I just need to give it a few more days for my receipt number to be updated in the system?

Alie, I've seen other people say that the first NOA number does not work. You have to wait for the Biometrics NOA as that is the number that will work on the USCIS website.
Alie
Ok, that's a relief! I see you also got your NOA too.
