DH and I just had a baby in June, but the question I have falls with his removal of conditions that we'll need to file for in the next 6 months or so I think (need to look at date on his card again for certain).

Anyway, I am now a stay at home mom and DH is working, but what sort of income requirements are they going to look for this time in the filing?

Also, would it hurt any for me to apply for WIC (State funded new mothers benefits program). I'm not interested in medicaid and food stamps, but the help of WIC to pay for the baby's formula would sure be nice since I'm not working as well right now.

Any advice, opinions, etc? I just dont want to have any problems when the conditions are lifted in the not so distant future.

Thanks!

I don't think they care about your income at this point - only that you're still married.

Anyhow, the Affidavit of Support you sent in with your I-485 is still in effect.

Hi:

They do not ask for your income for I-751.

Yes, you can apply for WIC - I have received it also for my daughter good.gif
