Full Version: Getting Ready to File I-751 at the Dreaded TSC!
VisaJourney.com > General Family Based Immigration Topics > Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion

RichardS
Does the epic set of Removal of Conditions documents have to be assembled in a specific manner / sequence?
What type of folder (3-hole punch, 2-hole punch at top) is required or have most people used?
Is there a FedEx Address that can be used for deliver to TSC rather than the Postal Service Box?

Many thanks to all for your help and insights! They are greatly appreciated!

Cassie
I just arranged my evidence in categories, and made sure I included a table of contents sheet for reference.

I used binder clips. No hole punching.

I used the address included on the I-751 form, as USPS gets the package there as quickly (and cheaper!) than Fed-Ex, IMHO.

If I remember correctly, your I-751 will be transferred to CSC, so don't be surprised!

Thanks very much Cassie!!!
I have forgotten so much over the past 2 years! LOL!

I've come to realize that immigration is like childbirth, you forget the pain until you're back in the middle of it again wink.gif

Do they transfer everyone to CSC these days?

If I remember correctly (and please someone pipe up if I am wrong), I-751s sent to TSC from July 1 onwards are being transferred to CSC. I need to find where I read that. The rest of us that applied before that date are out of luck on that one, I guess.

Here's a thread talking about TSC'ers getting transferred, still looking for mention of a specific date:

Hi Richard, good to "see" you again! How's it going?

I sent my I-751 just last Aug 18 and still waiting on a NOA. They haven't even cashed my check yet. I sent it to the Mesquite, TX PO Box via USPS Express Mail (with confirmation of delivery). I'm hoping my file will be transferred to CSC (again) .. biggrin.gif

In organizing my file I punched two holes on top and placed everything in a folder that had a fastener on top. I also wrote my cover letter to serve as a "table of contents" for the evidence. I didn't put tabs on the bottom but now I wish I did.

Good luck! After you've sent in the I-751, please add your timeline here. smile.gif

Mark, there's one TSC filer who mailed her I-751 in August and her cashed check showed a CSC stamp on it. We're waiting on her NOA to see if her file is really in CSC.
