Hi. I would just like to ask if you can kindly post here if you still do not have your NOA2 and you are a March or April filer. This is only pertains to K1 visas.. I think most of them either got their NOA2s, still waiting for NVC, or some have their interview dates already.

I just don't want to feel so alone because I still do not have mine. They have updated my status on August 22 that they have received our RFE reply and processing has resumed. But I am so anxious already to get the NOA2 and I have no idea how long it takes to get it once they have resumed the process. Thanks guys.

why did you get rfe? just asking because we just got notice and don't know why?

Well the officer that had our case THOUGHT that we need to send more evidence.. I guess some officers are hard to convinced that the relationship is TRUE.. not fake.. anyways I wish you luck and you should get the mail in a few days.. and let me know what they asked of you to send back... Mine was they needed evidence of us meeting within the past two years..

we haven't call NVC yet. they said that it will take 3 weeks to NVC . we're going to call when we already reach 3 weeks..don't worry kits_24_faith soon you can have your NOA2

It's not yet in the mail. It's feel like eternity waiting for the letter. Will update you. My guess is my fiance missed to fill up the box in my G-325A. I hope it's just that.

Thanks funny how waiting for the notice to arrive is becoming as elusive as the noa2. It kept my mind off the noa2 for a moment. Anyway, I hope you get your approval soon. It means it's getting closer for us too

Guys, sorry to be off-topic but if you don't mind, may we ask what evidence did you initially send to prove meeting in person? The reason we're asking is that looking at your story, we have almost the same love story. We were classmates in grade school, girl leaves for the U.S. for good in 1986 leaves boy behind, 21 yrs later they reconnect and fall in love, girl comes home with parents to visit boy and parents and decide to marry, girl files K-1 Visa at CSC. So, we were just anxious and are thinking that if you got an RFE, maybe we might get one too?

Besides for the pictures..you should include copies of your girl's boarding passes, tickets, stamps in passport entering the Philippines and USA, receipts of any sort like restaurants or hotel.. anything that will prove that you were together in the Philippines..

Thank you for the reply. Aside from the pics (she included at least 14 pics of where we were here in the Philippines like Manila, Baguio, Boracay and Tagaytay), we sent in the boarding passes (for both US-Phil flight and local flight from Manila-Boracay), photocopies of the immigration stamps in her passport showing departure and arrival (LAX-Manila_LAX), photocopy of Hotel Receipt in Boracay. Well, hopefully this would be enough Maybe we're just being too paranoid Good luck to all of us here at VisaJourney:)

we have to send passport pictures. i sent the wrong dimensions. bummer i followed the philippine passport size.
i'm glad it's just that whew!

hahah...just for the record.. me and my fiance went to the same kindergarten and elementary.. unfortunately during my 6th grade i moved to the US..

They just asked for passport photos. I know a VJer who sent the same size but didn't get an RFE. I guess it really depends on the officer handling your case

We do not have our NOA2 yet .. just touches .. no RFE nothing

I'm really expecting to get mine like this week coz I really thought that once they got the RFE reply and case has resumed it usually takes two weeks before you hear an update.. whether it's approved or another RFE... NOA2 please come..
