Claudeth, as far as I know, is a very honest and down to earth person.

It is amazing that 20% of people never saw their SO lie. VJ must be a special bunch, 'cause in real life I hardly know 2 or 3 people who never lied (to my knowledge). It means less than 1%...
Of course many of them are Russians and I suppose my life experience could be different if I grew up, say, in Sweden?...

I've lied, he's lied, but we don't lie about things that matter, we have told white lies, you know, like the "No honey, you don't look fat".

That's what I was thinking when I saw that. Trust is very important to me and required in a marriage IMO. I voted that we don't lie, but i guess everyone has told at least one little white lie. When someone asks me if I lie, to me it means do you lie about important/big things. IMO, "you don't look fat" doesn't count as a lie.

I trust my Sasha with everything. She has never lied to me. But I'm sure she has told her share of harmless little white lies. Like calling out sick on really beautiful day, etc. We do not lie to each other.

I did not vote, but all I know is human beings lie and you can't exactly say you can trust anyone completely. I put my trust in the Almighty, as He cannot lie and He can be trusted 100%. Apart from that, what else is there?

I voted that he has told "white lies" to others and myself. Not that I've ever caught him in a big lie but come on...he's human and humans lie. I know I've told him a few white lies. I also voted that I trust him on the big issues but I don't take every word literally. Again, he's only human with human faults.

Some might consider divorce if you are caught denying it was you who ate most of the ice cream and left the nearly empty container in the freezer to hide your crime. I'd recommend eating all the ice cream and then buying another carton to cover your tracks. It's not a lie if you don't get caught.

it won't let me vote but I can still post, my husband has lied to me and I have lied to him about big things that we shouldn't have lied about but that was years ago and thing are sorted... I do now trust my hubby and he trusts me, everyone goes though things... distance and closeness and can really mess with you at times.
