My wife was in a same dilema. They do take fingerprints at POE of your both index fingers but I don't think mehndi will affect anything.

Thanks

It is a good question! Are there any ladies out there who entered POE with mehndi on her hands? Because yes there is fingerprinting at POE but I wonder if it is affected by mehndi, probably not because it will not affect the actual lines on the fingers, right? blink.gif

All applicants should ensure that their fingerprints are free from any form of decoration (henna, for example), abrasions or other markings prior to providing their biometric date as these may affect their ability to provide acceptable fingerprints.
