aweful quiet in here today




Today's the last day till my vacation starts. I'd be more excited if my boss hadn't piled a bunch of crap to get done before I am out on my desk.

Anyhoo........what I like about vacation

1) i don't have to get up at any particular time in the morning
2) I can be with the kids all day and have fun
3) the beach
4) staying up late watching movies


That's all I can think of. If I weren't on a diet I'd put in eating whatever the heck I want but that's out of the question right now. I guess I could go off of it but I"m on a roll.

I remember waffle house from when I live in North Carolina... but my favorite is still bojangles!

My day has progressed since arriving at the office. I have worked 10 accounts in an 1 1/2 hours and exchanged approximately 35,000 cinnamon hearts tossed over the top of the cube wall with my coworker. These little beauties came in especially handy when we punished the IT guy for changing our printer. Only now it looks like cupid came and took a big dump on our floor.

LOL! That is hilarious! That's my favorite spot too... it's amazing that any meal in any restraunt can be romantic when you are enjoying it with someone who's never experienced it...

Every time I hear this phrase I think of that ridiculous song by The Bloodhound Gang. Arrgghhhh, now its stuck in my head! Its even worse than the Wednesday 'humps' song. Oh no, now the two are combined.........

I am here. Happy Friday everyone. I love the Waffle House.......my friend accidentally set the Waffle House's trash dumpster on fire one time.

Well...........I think we were about 15 and we used to walk downtown every afternoon in our town. We also used to play a stupid game with books of matches. We would light the matches as fast as we could and throw them at eachother. When they hit our skin, the match would be put out, and it wouldn't burn, but it would sting a little bit. (dumb kids, I know) Plus, it was summertime, so we were wearing shorts and short sleeves. We would aim for eachothers' arms and legs. (never on the clothes or hair - because that, see, would be DANGEROUS )

So..............she threw a match at me and it went behind me near the trash at the Waffle House and I didn't pay it any attention. I thought that it was extinguished. Then, when we were on our way home, we saw a fire truck putting out a fire in the big dumpster at the Waffle House. OMG!! Our pockets were full of books of matches! We were drowning in evidence! So, we ditched the matches and stopped playing that game.

mmmm, I'm starving! I miss Waffle House! TGIF.

That is absolutely hillarious! I needed that laugh today.
The only thing good about today is that I survived days 1-4 and the weekend is tomorrow!!! This week has TOTALLY sucked. Got my son enrolled in school yesterday so at least that is taken care of. Have to get him set up with YMCA before Monday coz if I don't...he's all alone until 7pm (and he's only 8 years old). I hate stress!!

Scattered, smothered, covered, chunked and topped... can you tell that I frequent waffle house alot! It doesn't help that there is one only about 2 miles from work and 2 within 3 miles of my home...

I have one more class today and then I'm done with my first week back to school. Feels like a month. I'm taking 18 credits so don't be surprised if you don't hear from me much. All this talk about Waffle House reminds me I missed breakfast. I think I'll go get a coffee now before the next class. Neeeeed Coffeeeeee. TTYL!

You should be working with me, I would have shared with you . I couldnt finish all my meal so I brought the rest to work in a box. My cubemate practically slobbered all over herself upon catching sight of it, so I gave it to her. She inhaled it before I could even go to and from the copy room.

My memories of the Casa de Waffle are VERY fuzzy at best. That was the place to go after a heavy night of drinkin' and dancin'. Know what I mean?????
Somehow all of the grease was the best cure for a vicious hangover!

Some of you may know, I go to the Y at lunch to exercise or swim. Well, today I finally made my goal of swimming 10 laps straight. I'm really, really proud of myself as I'm really accomplishing my weight loss goals. Any of you doing that...just hang in there and keep on believing in yourself. I'd pat myself on the back, but after all that, I don't think I can even lift my arms!

When I got back from working out, I went to get my sammich out of the fridge in the breakroom....AND IT WAS GONE!!!! I walked down the hall of the office and started asking around about my sammich. Finally, one of the guys that I work with was like...ohhh...I thought that was my sammich from last week, so I threw it out. And then he didn't say anything else. I was like, "Hey you azzz, that was my lunch!!!!"

Yeah. Waffle House was always a pit stop on the way home from the club. Sometimes it was so full, it was like a whole nother disco going on in the parking lot!

WOW! That guy made a big mistake. Did he offer to buy you another sandwich or anything?

NO!!! Can you believe he didn't offer to buy me lunch or anything???? He was like, it was in a ziploc bag, why don't you go get it out of the trash. But it was all covered with coffee grounds and I was like no! One of the other guys called him a part of the male anatomy. He doesn't really get along with anybody, so par for the course I guess. I don't have any beef with him, so I don't think he did it on purpose....I don't think so???

We have a theft problem around here too. Some jerk even took my half-eaten Chinese food one night. Hope they enjoyed eating my spit! Oooh I was PO'd.

It's like Denny's. Only, it's about 5 degrees in there all year round. Even in the summer, you need a sweater when you go in there. The windows get condensated like a cold glass of Bebsi!!!!

Yes it is Friday and is should be busy at the tattoo shop but it is dead. And this dont help me save money. so i can go back to Egypt in November Grrrrrrrr And it looks like rain again!!!! Im not haveing a very good day Sure hope every one else is haveing a better day.

Wow, to think that I forgot about the Waffle House that is only ten miles from me! Waffles are the best there. I worked as a waitress at Denny's for about 15 years total, even made it all the way to management before being "let go" for unexplained reasons. LOL I always worked the over night shift, so I know all about those late night food raids.
Happy to say that I have to whole weekend off, so maybe I can get some much needed deep cleaning done at home. I hate housework!
