I was called a troll by a moderator on one of the two accounts my husband and I share because I ask someone to . One account was banned for a year with no explanation and the other account I can not open because admin will not answer my emails. The moderator who decided I was a troll emailed me and ask me a couple of random questions to find out whether I was a troll or not (how you figure this out is beyond me but okay back to the story). I gladly explained to this moderator who I was, why I ask for a timeline and why was I a troll for asking such a thing that is ask daily on this site. BABOOM banned! No other response or explanation.

The very same moderator stepped into another board I am on to make a snippy remark, and continues to make comments how he/she was hurt. IMO if a moderator is going to take things to heart on a forum they probably are not the best candidate for the job and probably not the best to decide who is or isn't a troll. In my case I very plainly proved I was not a troll but an active member for over three years and still banned with no explanation. I guess it is becoming the way of this site ban those you dislike, call them trolls, continue to tell your side of the story while they are sitting in la la land on a ban yet allow the instigators to remain.

So anyways waiting for my next big dreadful ban and an answer from above moderator and admin!

Accounts are not banned for not having a timeline. That is totally a voluntary thing. Also we track unique account information for security. If someone in the near past had used an account to spam the site, troll, or get themself banned we ussually watch for new accounts that pop up with the same unique id's. Sometimes they try to come back with a new account and we use these tools to spot them. Sometimes a person will claim not to be the original person but when they have the same IP in a short period of time (cable companies do not float emails around frequently) then it is often hard to believe.

I wanted to add; if you think a moderator has made a mistake just email or PM me. I am the "review" board so to speak.

I also want to post something for everyone to read. If a member has a very personal question that they are shy to ask, I am totally ok with them creating a new account to ask the question anonymously.
