Hi,
I want my wife to come here to the US on a visitor visa spend Ramadan next month with me and I wanted to know can I do do? and is it a good idea to do it? I was told I can, but I really don't want to cause any problem with the K3 process.

Thank

She is allowed to apply and if she received it and spent only her allowed time in the states, there would be no problem with it in regards to the K3 process. However, it highly unlikely (essentially impossible) for her to be approved for the tourist/visitor visa. It is routine to deny visitor visas for the sole reason of the person being married to a USC.

EDIT - Just wanted to add sympathy for this for you. Unfortunately, you most likely need to just wait for her to have the K3 visa.

Just wanted to add my best wishes for you and echo MargotDarko.

I was refused a tourist visa before I even started the immigrant route for the sole reason of being married to a USC. The CO in London told me that they automatically presume that a spouse of a USC is an intending immigrant.
