Hi all,

I had my medical done here in Toronto at Dr. Seiden's a couple of weeks ago and submitted it to my health insurance company to see if they would cover it. They're asking for a more detailed receipt (Seiden's only provides a total amount and doesn't break down the cost of the individual services - ie. x-ray, blood work etc.). I called Seiden's office and they've told me that they can't give me anything more detailed. I know some people who have posted here have had their medicals covered - I just wondered if anyone who went to Seiden was able to get reimbursed?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I was going to try and get it reimbursed by Sun Life but decided not to bother since it's like pulling teeth getting money out of them. I think it's kind of ridiculous that Dr. Seiden's doesn't provide a breakdown of what they did.

Did you get your medical back? You should have also received photocopies of the chest xray results and the blood tests. Maybe try and submit that with your insurance company and see what they say?
