You would need to sign up on the USCIS site ( www.uscis.gov or https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp for the direct login page) and assign your case number to your user ID. Each time the USCIS look at your file the "last update" date is changed and that is classed as a touch.

Thanks for the info, but my case is now at the NVC and the automatic phone recording stated that the DS-3032 was mailed on 7/30/07. Can I see touches at the NVC, or does this only happen at the USCIS stage? helpsmilie.gif

What are you filing for? Usually the touches are only made when they are at the USCIS. You can email the NVC or call and ask them whether they have mailed it to the embassy or not. From then on, emailing the kingston embassy about progress on your case will be most helpful. Hope this makes sense

My SO's father filed for him and his case has become current and the NVC has sent him the DS2032 and the AOS fee bill to his father. I thought you could check case status on the NVC website, but apparently not. cool.gif Thanks anyway for the info. You guys have been a tremendous resource here for me when I was thinking about going through the process. I can't thank you enough for all the great info you have all provided.

The only way to check your status at the NVC stage is to call and speak to a C/S/R or the automated line. Also I noticed on your timeline you are waiting for the DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) form to reach JA. Well good luck w/that b/c we all know how the mailing system is down there esp now after Dean. I would advise either you or your husband send an email to NVC assigning you as the choice of agent. My husband doesn't have access to the net so I emailed them myself via my email acct and I recv'd an email accepting it 10 days later.
