Hi, I"m back safe from Jordan. Been home a little over two weeks. I wasn't able to get married there. The churchs there definately doesn't like the idea of internet relationships. We decided to do the K-1 visa. I mailed it from Jordan when I was there to avoid the fee hike..lol. They cashed my check today...yay!!!! It was so hard for me to come home. To be honest...it was my kids that made it possible to get on the plane. I'm finally getting back to a more normal routine. I promise I will come here and participate more. Thanks to everyone who gave me help. I really appreciate it. Now is the hard part.....waiting.

Glad to see you back, but sorry to hear you couldn't get married while you were there. Seems like there are always roadblocks somewhere along the visa journey. Hope this is the only one you have along the way!

We were in Egypt, but the church was just as scrutinous. The abouna who was gonna baptize me and marry us called my mom from his cell phone to make sure she knew I was getting married! (She didn't answer because it was an unknown # laughing.gif )

We were already married at the ministry of justice, but the preist told us that he could be using me and that we should live together as brother and sister until he could marry us. wacko.gif Anyway, the whole backwardness of that situation is that if he was really using me, why would he want to get married in the Coptic Church that doesn't allow remarriage after divorce? I guess my husband was gonna travel with me to USA and lose ALL of his morals.

Sorry you had troubles. Hopefully, the finace visa will work out better for you guys!
Good luck and God bless.

Welcome back. I would imagine the Church would be pretty strict in Jordan or any of the countries over there. Did you like Jordan? Tell us what you did?

I always see pics of Morocco and Egypt and Algeria but seldom of Jordan. Did you take any pictures of the scenery?
