So, does anyone have any theories, rumors, or facts regarding what they're doing with I-129F now for a K-3 visa? I inquire only because it is nowhere to be found under any of the regional service centers or the national service center. I know when the new fees went into effect, they instructed everyone to start sending the I-129F for K-3 to whatever service center was processing the I-130, but there is no info on it. Just curious what they might be doing with them now. I personally think its corrupt that they cashed my $170 check for the I-129F and there is probably no intent to even process it.

If you paid the fee and got the receipt, I am sure they will process it.

They will actually process your 129F and possibly hold your I-130. The I-130 process takes a while at the NVC and the I129 will get to the consulate first. Another VJer posted that the new process is that the I-130 gets held at the service center when you apply for a K-3.

You have it backwards. Both petitions will be processed. Here are the links to the relevant official documentation.
