Does anyone know if packet 3 comes to me here in the states or to my husband in Jordan? As some of you may know the addresses are a little wierd there sometimes (unless you have a PO Box) and I am just unsure of how this will get to him if it doesn't come here first.
thanks

It really depends on a lot of factors. We used an attorney in Jordan to handle our case, and all of the paper work went directly to him and he gave it to my husband. I have heard of other cases where the wife received it here in the US. In still other cases the husband had to have a PO box and he got the paper work there. Some (unfortunately) never recieved the packet at all, and had to get the documents from other sources. Good luck in your journey!

Well, I called the NVC and gave them a P.O. Box to mail any documents to my husband and the embassy sent all documents to my husband. It took almost a month for him to get his documents when the file was at the embassy.

My husbands packet didnt arrive so after 6 weeks of waiting the embassy allowed him to come up there to pick up another packet at the gate house. About 2 weeks after he did that, the original packet showed up at the PO Box of his. But Tammy is right, some go to the spouse in jordan, some to the person here in the u.s. and some never get them at all. They are really unorganized!
Good Luck!

If you filled out the Agent of Choice and you assigned you as the agent then you will recieve the package. That is the reason that I got my husbands and I know that is the same form that would be filled out so that an Attorney can recieve the papers.
hope this helps.

my husband was never contacted by the embassy, we found out of the apt time by email. He never got the last packet, it was sent to my lawyer (who never got it either)
I gathered all the info from all people on VJ!!!!!!
The only thing I can impart is when he goes in they do NOT want copies. all must be originals!!!
