Hi friends!
I am trying to open new thread for approved March filers and the time it take them to be forward to NVC. We have not yet checked if our papers are received by NVC because it is too early. I am so angry to see that the waiting begin again. It is not fair. USCIS is mocking with us

Wow, congrats! It usually takes 7-15 days for them to receive it from date of NOA2.

To my fellow VJer's: Just would like to ask what is written on your approved I-130 (NOA2). Does it states anything about being sent to NVC?
I have only received mine and it indicated something like "The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status.....If the person for whom you are petitioning decides to apply for a visa outside the United States based on this petition, the petitioner should file form I-824 ....."
Does that mean that CSC will hold on to your I-130? So I don't need to prepare anything for the I-130 anymore? Since some VJer's got both of their petition running at NVC...
I guess the only way to confirm this is to check with VJEr's filing purely CR-1/IR-1 only... and see if their notice contain words saying they have forwarded the case to NVC.

I got my electronic NOA2 for I-129F and I-130 on August 8,2007. I'm still waiting for my mailed NOA2s. I called NVC and spoke to someone directly yesterday (August 20,2007) and she indicated neither have been received yet. Also, when I filed my I-130 I indicated in several places we intended to use the consular process (and not do AOS in the US). Both of our forms were approved at roughly the same time so it will be interesting to see if they honor that or not. Will update as soon as I have more information.

Hi! I am in the same boat as you neel06!
I got the email for the approval for the I-129F and I-130 on Aug.1st
I got both hardcopies in the mail Aug.6th.
I called NVC yesterday and they have not received my case yet!
For some odd reason my I-129 case was touched on Aug. 16th?
Maybe this is when they really sent my petition to the NVC?
I don't know.
Good Idea to start this thread Kalina

We will call to NVC at the end of week. I will keep you in touch. I think that these of early August approvals have to be sent yet. As far as I know I 129 F has validity 3 months.

from my observations i have come to a conclusion that your approval, your transfer are all depended on your case worker at uscis. so mine is some lazy person who was slow in approving and now probably doing the same thing in sending it over to nvc.

I called USCIS to find out why my online status shows as pending when I have received hard-copy of the approvals. Apparently they need to check some flag to indicate when the approval notice is sent and once that is done you get an email from CRIS and your online status get updated. Once the person did that I got the email and my online status shows as 'approval notice sent'.
I also asked about the transfer to NVC and got the same response as you that it is in their staging area and they should be transferring it to NVC in the next week or so. I'm hoping this happens next week...
