My guess is this is like I said before....they save up all the forms for a long time and mail them in one big shipment. Probably they have decided that to save money on this they will make a shipment only once per month to the NVC. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

LOOKS LIKE THEY WILL SEND ALL OUR CASED TO NVC NEXT WEEK.....................DID ANYBODY GOT THE TOUCH LIKE ME..............APPROVED BOTH I-129F AND I-130 (ONLINE STAUTS ON I-130 IS STILL PROCESSING THOUGH, I WILL GIVE A DAMNNNNNNNNNN AS I HAVE NOTICE OF APPROVAL HARD COPY) ON AUGUST 13.....................AND GOT A TOUCH ON I-129F TODAY I.E 08-23-2007

Not to make anyone mad, but my K3 petition has been sent to the NVC and then fwd to the Vancouver Consulate. We were approved Aug 13. NVC rec'd Aug 15. Fwd to Vancouver Aug 16th. I'm sorry for the delays with others... I wonderif it's b/c we're in Canada. Hope you guys get somewhere soon!

I don't know what your touches mean. your touches could be depended on your case worker doing something with their database..

Sau, We received a couple touches. One the day NVC received the petition and one when they fwd it to Vancouver

i have looked at sooo many timelines and and the timelines that are filled correctly most of them get transfered in 3 weeks at most. I AM SO SCARED.
i called NVC again today and the lady was surprised that it hasn't made it here, especially when it is for K-3. has anyone heard of petitions being lost in the process.. i am think the worst. oh my gawd!

Do not freak out yet... Wait till Tuesday and call them! CSC is a mess write now and the process has not been fair for everyone.

Our I-129 and I-130 were both approved by CSC yesterday.

So now it is just a waiting game to see when NVC receives it.

As far as I know the only way is to call.

Don't worry Neel they will forward your case by this Tuesday. Which embassy are you going through. Ours is Chennai.

We are going through Delhi. I was thinking that my husband will get his interview in october..but i don't know now. going by chennai statistics when do you think your guys interview will be?

did anybody called NVC today

I can never get through?? How do you guys talk to a person there??? It always shoots me back to the main menu and then just disconnects after a few more minutes???

I have no idea, I hoping sometime in late september or early october. It all depends on when NVC recieves and sends it to Chennai.

I have a question guys, I recieved my approval letter via US mail today. In that for I129 it said we already forwarded your petition to NVC please allow 90 days to contact them and they listed a phone number (603)334-0700.

Is this standard writing or does it mean my petition really is forwarded. Can anybody check their I129 and let me know.

Yep, you have to try quite a few times before you can get thru' with a live person. Any luck with anyone today???

This is standard wording. My petition was transferred the following day of approval. For some others, they are still waiting for their transfer. We are assuming it's because my I-129F was transferred to Vermont. If you can make it through the automated message, you may be able to find out if your petition has actually been received by the NVC.

it said the same thing on mine..but i am still waiting. i haven't called since thursday... and i am afraid to call nvc.

I feel like we are never going to get out of CSC!!! How can it take so long to mail something?! I keep hearing bits of the song Bohemian Rhapsody...

Guys Hang in there... Once CSC lets go of the case (which takes forever) NVC is pretty quick to forward it to foreign embassy. I just checked with Mumbai embassy and they have got my case and asked me to send Packet 3.

i haven't called nvc but tomorrow it will be 4 weeks and i will be really sad if they don't have my case yet. if they had forwarded my case within 21 days my husband could have gotten his interview in september but i don't know now. anyhow, goodluck with the rest of the journey.

Thanks neel.. I feel for you. I hope your case makes it to the embassy soon. You guys going to Delhi embassy for K3 interview right ? Hopefully you wont have to deal with the Packet 3 crap which seems to be delaying interview by a couple of weeks at mumbai.

i have heard conflicting things about packet 3 when it comes to new delhi. some people have received it while others received only packet 4. everything in my life happens on time....... hehe till this immigration process happened and this process is full of delays. so knowing my luck in this whole immigration business i think i probably have to deal with packet 3. anyway, good luck again.

At first,I wish a very speedy transfer for everyone,especially for you,Neel.(Of course for the others too,including myself).

As you already know,we got approved on 24.aug.However,my daughter's I 130 is still pending,and no touch on it since mid march.

Maybe her I 130 is got approved too, without any update or email?

After the approval emails ,when should my husband expect the NOA2 hardcopies? Within a week or so?

Should he call them about my daughter's case,or just wait by the end of the week,maybe he will get her NOA2 too in snail mail?

any thoughts,experiences would be appreciated!

you will be getting hard copy within a week..................i gurantee you will get the approved letter for the both petition as same thing happens to be too...............

I am a bit worried that her I130 is still pending according the site,however mine approved already.

Zolanden, like Sau we received our NOA2 in mail within a week after approval. I think that your daughter I 130 is approved too but they didn't update online status. If it is not approved yet there is not a problem for her to go to USA with K4 visa. In spite of that you have to call USCIS if they didn't approve her petition.

Being worried is became my habit.
I talked with my husband recently and he told me that he thinks too that my daughter is approved,just they "skipped" her update.We'll see,but thank you for the important info,"If it is not approved yet there is not a problem for her to go to USA with K4 visa."---I never could leave without her.

I'm still waiting for the mailed copies of both our approvals. Anyone else waiting a long time for theirs?

Anybody tried calling yet today? I thought I read somewhere (maybe this thread) that Tuesdays were when NVC gets updated or something like that. If anyone's heard anything, let us know. If people are starting to get transferred to NVC, I'll just sit tight and wait. But if nobody has called yet today, I'll give it a shot.

It is really unfair that we have to wait a month or so for the transfer.
Wondering why it takes this long???

thats what happens to me............my online status was still processing for I-130 till august 24 even though i got the hard copy of approval on august 16 through mail for both I-130 and I-129f. and on august 24th i got the mail from CRIS saying your I-130 is approved ............damn thats too late........

zolanden i am hanging...its not like i have any other option..but all this hanging has left me all streched out.........
