The interview is on September 12 in Bucharest. I have pictures and emails for the evidence but no phone records. Will these be a problem?

We never used POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) to communicate, we did use chat and skype to talk to each other, I just did screen shots of the chat log, and highlighted the chats that were voice communications.
Emails as well as an email log from the time of I-129F filing to the interview is good evidence of relationship.

Many people have said that all they used were calling cards so they didn't have the phone records for them and they were still approved. If you have phone bills to prove phone calls great, if not, what can you do?

Phone records are not needed. This is the 21st century and a lot us of use methods of communications that don't produce records. You'll be fine!
