Or you can do a google search for USCIS address change and simply do it online.

The problem with all of this is usually the instructions given by USCIS and the advice given above is for US Citizens or beneficiaries living in the US. I ran into this same thing because my wife who lives in Ukraine moved after we filed. The advice I was given back then and which I still intend to follow is not to try to change anything until it gets transferred to the NVC and again at the embassy. I was told that the USCIS does not actually use this information since they won't be mailing anything to your spouse (beneficiary). I was a little nervous about this but I can tell you that both our petitions were approved without any problems. I'll be able to provide more information as soon as the NVC actually receives them. You'll have to decide for yourself what to do on this as I couldn't really find a definitive answer.

I need the same thing - change address of my wife living in Canada (K-3 pending). All advice given here is for people living in US. LvivLovers, what did you end up doing?

I'm still waiting for our forms to get to NVC, then I'm going to call and tell them my wife's address has changed. I'll then call back a couple days later to make sure it's really changed. And then I'll do the same whenever the forms get to the embassy to make sure everyone is on the same page. wink.gif I'll let you know how it goes.

So after papers are approved in local office they go to NVC and only then to the Embassy? What do they do with them at NVC?

Best to read the guides for the detailed info...it's more than I could type here. But in a nutshell, the I-129F usually will only be at the NVC for a few days then will go to the appropriate embassy for the case. The I-130 has several steps that are processed at the NVC before it finally goes to the appropriate embassy. Usually these steps take 2-3 months extra. That's why most of the time you can get a K3 visa approved more quickly. However, the I-130 results in a better visa, so it's all a trade off.
