tongue_ss.gif Oh I dont want to wake up today and go to work! It is grey outside and looks like rain. That makes a good day to sleep. And i have to put in another 10 hours at the tattoo shop. But after work Iam going to the camp grond and meet my girl friend and have a few drinks. Then going field ramping in the woods with a gulf cart. Just hope we dont hit a tree again wacko.gif Hope every one has a great day!

Well honestly I tried but there was just too many of those red wines giving us cat tounge. But out of the 13 reds we tried the best one was a $4 bottle from Trader Joes! 2005 Cab, coastal. AMAZING.

The second one we liked which was a white is called Menage a Trois which I'm not quite sure if that is appropriate to serve at a wedding laughing.gif

It's so beautiful here today. I finally turned the a/c off for the first time since I can't remember when! I love it when it's in the high 60's, low 70's!!! kicking.gif kicking.gif My kind of weather baby!!!

I'm sooo not motivated to do much of anything today. Totally in an arthritic flare up. Emptied the trash in the house and was in pain the whole time doing it. sad.gif I have soooo much to do too. *sigh*

I can't say that I like wine very well either. I prefer margaritas or daqueries and yes even wine coolers. I just don't like the taste of alcohol. But haven't had a drop of any of it since my 21st birthday crying.gif 7 years ago crying.gif
The only comfort I've had lately is food and that has SOOOOOOO got to stop!!! I can not keep feeling like this or I'm gonna end up not being able to wear anything in my closet! I found an amazing mixture of seeds, raisins, and nuts at Wally World the other day and I can't keep my hands out of it. I don't remember the name but I DO remember it is in a purple bag. Yay for purple! laughing.gif
I think we're going to have a change of restaurants tomorrow. We've been going to Dimassis every Sunday for lunch but it is getting kind of old soooo I'm going to try to talk the hubster into going to Ryans. I reeeeeeally want a good steak. yum.
We got the movie 300 the other day and its toooootally not worth buying. Just a little over done to me. It was like LOTR without the story and jam packed into 1 hour of war scenes.
Anyone wanna come help me clean today?? I don't wanna move. *sigh*

ok ok so the pee thing was a bit much for some ppl. I, personally wouldn't comment on the hubsters pee habits coz FOR ME that is just a little too personal. BUT if someone else wants to talk about it...no worries. That is their choice and to each their own. I'm not going to talk bad or tell anybody they are bad for what they talk about. It is their choice to discuss it. Just coz they talk about it doesn't mean I have to do the same. It was a little bit uncomfortable for me but I'm not their mother to tell them they can't talk about things like that. I don't let stuff like that bother me.

On a side note.. When my oldest sister was about 2 or 3 years old and potty training she fell into the toilet coz the lid was up. She was a tiny little thing so when she fell in, the only part left of her that was sticking out of the toilet was her feet. Seat has been down ever since.

Hey thanks good.gif I haven't posted in it for a while coz I've been wayyyyyy too busy at work but I do hope to add to it soon. Yeah.. if you don't like blood and gore... you prolly won't like it. I thought it was unnecessarily graphic and they could have used a little bit less "splatter" when they stabbed ppl. That is just my opinion though.

lol i make the plain ones!!!! but the ones w spices are good.... bay leaf etc.....

I just posted my Preserved Lemons recipe in the "Sultan's Kitchen" thread up top. good.gif

We cheat. We buy the jar of preserved lemons for $3.99 at our local Arab market. There are usually about 10 lemons in there and it lasts us a month or two.

No one has them here! I've looked at several Arab markets. I did find some online, but figured it was just easier to make my own. blush.gif

we are even bigger cheaters. We use fresh lemons. We have access to plenty of perserved lemons, but Idir insists fresh is better. I can't tell the difference blush.gif

wow... I *can* tell the difference. I'm not sure I'd say one is better, tho, b/c they're so totally different. Preserved lemons just add a different taste than fresh.

OMG!!! the b'stilla was soooooooooooooooo good! It really came out well and hubby loved it - he even said it's just like in Morocco, no different good.gif . It wasn't difficult, just a little time consuming, but well worth it!
