Ok, Im thinking ahead (to much time on my hands maybe???). In my original K1 petition I included a cover letter (which we will do for the packet 3 as well) and then a small packet of proof of relationship with a summary page. I was wondering...seems when we go to the Cairo Embassy for the interview that they decline a large portion of proof of on going evidence that is brought with our SO's to the interview. Im thinking of including IN the packet 3 a SMALL packet of proof of on going relationship. One page from each phone bill, a few one page sample chats, sample emails, just on or so from each month as well as proof of an additional meeting and updated pics. Just one or two to show we met yet another time and had "engagement" photos done. Just a few pages but to get the point across that we have on going proof of an on going relationship. I am also including a new intent to marry with our local engagement announcement in our local paper, (with pic). Pretty much just to update them just enough for them to know its real and we still intend to continue on. Then take ALL the evidence to the interview. (which is alot from over the 4 years) What does everyone think? WE have an age gap which I DID address in our question 18 in the petition...so I know they can not deny based on age...but they CAN try to find other ways to discredit that our relationship is real.


Any ideas, suggestions or comments???

We only put in what was requested, but you know what? It can't hurt. We did include additional photos in the packet 3 and wouldn't ya know the only thing they said was that we need to give two more photos.

Anyways I don't see why you couldn't include all that but I would section it off...maybe with a big binder clip or something so it doesn't get in the way of what is actually requested.

I agree..and i just want a sample..not the big guns...just a sample. and I thought of making it seperate...with a cover letter and a binder clip. Just so they can see the difference. I just know they have a habit of not looking.

I made the cutest wedding album and they never looked at it. He also brought all of my cingular bills with our calls/texts hilighted, a few chat logs from Skype and yahoo (about 40 of them though I had to edit some of the stuff ), cards that my kids have sent him, etc. The guy didn't wanna see ANYTHING.

I included current pics and updeted phone bills , they just put it in your case so it can't hurt. I think it comes down to the luck of the draw in Cairo , there is no rhyme or reason , unfortunatly or at least none that I can decipher. Go ahead and include the pics/proof though.

Unfortunately doodle's husband along with many others had the CO who is famous for being rude. He has a track record for refusing to look at proofs. Hopefully you'll luck out and get the younger guy with glasses. That guy actually looks at photos and other proofs.

Thanks for the replies....I hope we dont' get the rude dude. Hmmm Iknow Cairo seems to do as it pleases.... I think I'll include a bit more in our packet 3. Take in the big guns in case we need it. Rude Dude may feel that if someone brought all that stuff so what...anyone can do that...and fake what chats they want and phone bills if someone is desperate enough..guess maybe he relies on more cold hard facts and the way a person interviews...or just goes with the mood of the day.

I'm not going to assume why he acts the way he does. It could be that he's seen so much in his line of work that he's suspicious of everyone's intentions. Who knows? How many visa cases end in fraud with only one of the parties knowing this fraud exists? Ppl commiting fraud will never actually tell their victim that the fraud is being commited. So of course the chat logs, phone records and photos will exist. These things don't have to be faked. So maybe he does rely on how a person looks, speaks and carries him or herself to judge the situation.
