I'm trying to check the processing dates for my AP ... if I check the district office it says that the I-131 processing date is March 1st, but if I check the National Benefits Center, it says January 25th.
I sent my package in to the Chicago address, but my closest district office is Hartford and I would have applied there, but I was told that I had to send everything to Chicago.
.... wha? I'm confused. Why is there a date for processing of i-131 forms at Hartford, if they don't accept them in the first place?

I do not know much about I 131 but for EAD for example...the NBC processes applications and your district office does the biometrics part of processing...so each processes its own share I guess.

I'm pretty sure it's the benefit center processing times that you need to look at. I think some people can apply for their I131 at district office - but it depends what visa category you are in etc. If you sent your AP to the lockbox then it is the benefit center that you need to look at.
Correct me if I'm wrong anyone..............

I think you're supposed to look at National Center processing dates, because that's where you sent your application.
You can call the info-line and ask them if you're really curious, although I wouldn't trust them much.

It's the NBC dates for sure that you need to track.
