it has been 16 days since my approval on the I-129F and am still waiting for NVC to receive it....why is it taking them so long?

Most often the wait is on the USCIS side, not NVC. USCIS waits for sufficient number of approved applications to pile up before sending the boxes to the NVC.

bszoom42 is correct, that is how they do it. It took mine nearly 2 weeks to reach the NVC too.

I know how frustrating it is. Mine took more than 3 weeks.

Dont Worry Guys Just Relax

i am not worried I am just pissed at CSC. they are freaking slow at everything. I called them today that why they haven't sent my petitions to NVC. Well the lady told me that call them back after January 31st if my petitions aren't transfered by them.

January 31st?!?! like in 5 more months?!?! Someone must have been having a bad day... they told me this week or next, another shipment will be going...

my is IR petiton... and i am waiting for my DS-230 forms.... my wife sent the 380 fee to st louis on AUGUST 3 ... and its been 20 days... and still they havent processed the payment.... what to do ... god help me.

Have you been calling the NVC to find out if they got it?

I have called NVC. Vikas u are so lucky that your spouse got the visa within less than 5 months....thats what i was hoping for my K-3.. its been 6 months and i barely got the approval and now waiting for the transfer.

Are you calling every day? USCIS still says my I130 and 129F are pending.
