I know is probably been aked before but I am trying to find the cheapest and easiest way of being able to watch ALL of the premiership matches on US TV, and I am stuck. I live in california, and the cable company I am with has a soccer package and that has Fox soccer channel but it doesnt look as though they transmit all of the games. So if anyone knows or can correct me about this then I will be eternally grateful.
This year I dont want to have to go to the local pub at 6.00 in the morning to see them, although maybe for the Euro 2008 I might venture out.

I watch the games online on overseas tv stations.

Premiership Football on TV here is a mix of 3 things: Fox Soccer Channel, Setanta and Pay-per-view. Fox Soccer Channel is all I have and they're pretty good. They must have shown 20 Portsmouth games last season, and have shown the 1st Pompey game of the season on Saturday. FSC usually show 3 games on Saturday, one on Sunday and several mid week. Its a pretty good service. Setanta is satellite only I believe, Pay-per-view is $20 a game, so not worth it unless its a big game you're interested in.

Last time Euro 2004 was only available as a high price par-per-view event, and the rules are you have to pay the same amount to watch it in the pub to watch it at home. So if you go to the pub, you'll be asked for a $20 cover (or there abouts).

Some are live, some are delayed. They also show repeats of games.

We had that Setanta when we moved into our home and basically found it a load of rubbish. We were all primed up to watch Liverpool in the European Cup and within minutes we knew it was last years final they were showing as this years was actually being played !!!!!!!!

We could not believe it and I phoned them and they said "we are playing it now" and I told them that it was last years they were playing and she said how do you k now and I told her how it ended!!!! We cancelled after that as we could hardly ever get Liverpool on and it just appeared to be re-runs

European Cup is on ESPN2 - covered by most basic cable packages!

I have a co-worker who got Sentata to get all the Man U games, but then the broadcast rights went elsewhere and he had several months still left on his subscription.

We feel pretty much covered by Fox Soccer Channel - there is the odd game they don't have that we want to see and then have to decide if we want to cough up the $$$ for PPV

Yes, the pubs have to pay the cable/satellite company per customer for per-per-view events. Pretty ridiculous really.

I have Setanta Sports through DirectTV. It costs me $14.99 per month and I've been very happy with it so far. I got it mainly for the rugby coverage but know it shows a lot of live or delayed (shown on the same day but in the evening US time) premiership, European cup and European club games. Below is the live schedule I just got off their website. This only shows live games so won't include the delayed games.

The will often show delayed coverage of games around live games which sometimes means being able to watch 2 o3 games in 1 day.

I'd recommend the Setanta sports channel to anyone wanting to keep in touch with EPL games while living in the UK. Now that Setanta and ITV share the rights to premier league coverage in the UK, the number of games available should be increasing as well.

Dammit! Setanta are showing the Man U vs Pompey game? If only I could get out of work to watch it down the pub at 2.45pm!

Yeah, so I ended up skiving off work this afternoon and watched the game down the pub. Luckily I had a good excuse to leave work early as I've been putting in 12-15 hour days for the last week.

A fine deserved 1-1 draw for my lot against United as well.
