Hello All,

I do not wish to go into great details at this moment, but my fiance and I had the interview in Frankfurt two weeks ago. I am so happy that I was able to be with my love during this time. I will explain step-by-step what occured at a later date. I just want anyone that is going through Frankfurt to know that the process is simple and you should not worry much. Just have all of your paperwork in order and prepare for a long wait.

As for us, I think the fact that I contacted the Congressman on numerous occassions came to bite me in the ### at the interview. The interview was going well and it was obvious my fiance knew everything about me and our relationship is genuine. THEN...The CO asked why did I contact the Congressman? After I explained to him that I've been on this visajourney since July 2004. Then he said, that he just received the package a few weeks ago. I wanted to say BS!!!! because I was told my fiance had an interview scheduled in February. Instead I remain quiet because I wanted so bad for my fiance to travel back to the USA with me the following week. Afterwards, the interview took a spin because the CO started to pull out things that was unexpected. Such as....the medical exam was performed in Sep 2005 and it is only good for 6 months (actually our exam is only 6 months and two weeks old) therefore we have to do another medical exam. Then, he did not accept the translated birth certificate from the German Affairs, therefore my fiance will have to relocate his birth certificate. Needless to say, we left the Consulate without an approval and we cried the entire trip back home. I swear that was the most painful day of my life. We did receive the green sheet stating we will get the visa once my fiance turn in all the requested documents. Needless to say, I've lost all trust in this process now crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif

Hello my VJ friend..... keep up the faith. You will get through this. You have been on your journey for a long long time and you are almost home. Try to look on the good side, you state he will get the visa once you supply them with exactly what they want. Just a little longer and you'll be done with this part. I'm at a loss of words for you. As you know, I watch for your good news. You've supported me through my process, thank you. I pray you are able to get the paperwork to them swiftly and they respond with speed to give him his visa.
