Hi All.

I am working overseas and sponsoring my foreign spouse. Although we seem to be OK on domicile in USA, I just want to ensure that I have really covered this issue thoroughly.

Instructions advise that Proof of Voting record is one means of demonstrating domicile. However, I don't know what document would prove my voting record. I have my voter's registration and I voted in the last election, but I have no document that indicates that I voted.

Anyone with some idea how to document "Proof of Voting" would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

I would assume you may have to contact your voting office where you last voted for a record.

North Carolina actually has an on line database of registered voters and it lists when you voted. You could your state.

I am registered in Illinois. They have an online database, but it does not show when/if you voted. I'll write the country clerk and see what they can do. Thanks.
