So we got our interview date!!!! we are both VERY excited, and a little nervous. BUT the thing that sucks is, my SO was brought to the US illeagly as a KID. he was 12!! so, its a little depressing that we will need to wait longer for a waiver. I dont understand why. i mean, he was 12, what was he suposed to do? he was deported at 19.ERRRR.
oh well, just wanted to say that.
our interview is on the 30th. the waiver takes some joy out of it.
but were still crazy excited!!

I don't think the issue is that he entered illegaly as a minor, but that he was involuntary (I assume) deported as an adult. Congratulations on your interview date and I hope the waiver process is speedy for you. Good luck!
