Claudeth and her Mom stayed at the Bayview and enjoyed it. My friend always stays at the Swagman. Take a look here, this is what I used to reserve the room for them:

We stayed at Cherry Blossoms Hotel both for my medical (July 2007) and interview (August 2007). It is 5 minutes walk to St. Lukes and 10 minutes walk to the US Embassy. It is also a few steps to the Robinson's mall. So no worries if you need to get groceries, a place to eat (restaurants and fast foods), and shopping. And it is cheaper too, room rates range from 1515, 1950 and up. Breakfast is included, 2 single beds (twin beds) or 1 queen/king size bed in a room. Room is for single/double occupancy.

P2900 for double at Lotus Garden. 5 minute walk to St. Lukes. Very clean and safe area.
Jollibee and MacDonalds right across the street.
Anak loved it.
Bayview for USE interview. P3100 for double. Not as clean as Lotus but 2 minutes to embassy. 1 minute if you run across the street and don't get hit!!
Busy street. No fast food like Jollibee close.

My fiancee stayed at the Lotus Garden for her medical, and we stayed there for the interview. We liked it.
Some of our friends stayed there too and had no complaints, except for the business center (internet cafe) closing kind of early.

There used to be a Wendys around the corner from the Bayview. Is that gone?
