I was wondering may-be we should add another column to our timelines for service requests and senator's involved? Would be nice to follow up if they move anything....

Maybe we should wait and see if any of these things pan out? From what I've seen, the service requests don't lead anywhere (except maybe Frustration City). Has anyone who has called, and has been told that TSC will contact them in 30 days, actually gotten any info then from TSC, and did it say anything other than "we'll let you know" or something like that?

When I called the national 800 number I was told that because my wife's 751 was past 6 months I would need to write the the TSC myself and ask for an updated status. Needless to say i never wrote anything back because I know what they would write back....

"Your application is in process....we sent you a 1 year extension...blah, blah, blah"

My 30 days are up from my last call. I called back this morning and the customer service rep, tranferred my call to a different department where they would be able to help me (tier 2 support ) Spoke to a lady who said that they are still processing and they shoyuld be done by December!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said i could make an infopass appointment and get an extention put on the green card?! as in physically put on the card. She lso said that I should not call bac everything is being processed in the order it was received. ahhhhh wtf?

2 of the 3 service requests I've raised, I received a letter reponse back after 2 months .... both stated the same ol' cr*p I already know...

Same thing happened to me. I got transferred within USCIS. First person very nice and understanding. The second person was quite rude and spoke horrible English that was almost impossible to understand. They've tried to sell me that one year processing crap, but I told them what their USCIS website says (processing within 6 months). She also started blabbering some crap about how some people might get called for an interview (stuff I didn't want to know and didn't ask for....) - it made me think they were reading a call script.....

So since you filed in February, their actual processing times are at least ten months? You have to wonder why they don't just put that up for a processing time instead of this phony 6-month business. (Maybe they will when the new times come out this week, but I doubt it.)

Does anyone know if the processing at TSC has stopped only for I751 or if other applications are affected as well? I mean do they process I129f, N400s? are they doing anything at all at TSC?

that's exactly what I have been thinking. I don't think they are doing K-1s -- I think those are going to CSC as well.

Yeah, there's not much to do to move this process along. Actually, there's not much to do, period, except crab about how long it's taking. When you look at the list here, you see that well over half of the people were supposed to have been approved already, at least according to the new processing times . . . .

I sent my petition(I-751) on aug 31, they've got it on sept 2nd and until now they even didn't cash the check....So, 2 days ago i decided to send again the pestition and they've got it this morning.....I also had an infopass appointment last friday and, sure, they couldn't stamp my passport cause i don't have a receipt.....I'm waiting still.....

Sorry -- far from it! Did you know that petitions sent to TSC are now being transferred to CSC, and it can take over a month for them to cash your check (actually, it seems to take that amount of time for the petition to make it from TSC to CSC, which then more or less promptly cashes the check)? This does seem to be a bit longer than usual, but you still may have acted hastily in resending the petition to TSC (which will now take another month to send it to CSC).

The bottom line is only people who sent their petitions to TSC before July 1 -- which is when TSC started transferring them to TSC -- can be TSC Losers®, because we're still stuck waiting at TSC while the people who filed at TSC months after us have already been approved because their petitions were transferred to and processed by CSC. Even with this delay, you will still be approved far quicker than any of us genuine TSC Losers® will be . . . .
