I am not sure for who infopass is exactly? Can anyone use infopass automated appointment system? Any one have any experience with infopass

I understand that infopass is used by people living in USA, usually when immigrants have a problem with the application process. On the AOS forum a number of people scheduled infopass appointments at local immigration offices if their cases were pending too long. From what I heard, the experience did not help them much at all. Employees there just repeated the case was pending and they could not do anything about it.
