my fiancee and I are getting married next year and we are planning on moving over to the USA afterwards, I am just wondering if I use my Brother as a Co-Sponsor will my fiancee and I have to live with my Brother once we get over there or are we free to live where we want? I'm only asking because my Mom who is also applying for DCF said that if we use a Co-sposor we have to live with the Co-sponsor until My fiancee is a USC.

Your mom is wrong. The joint sponsor doesn't even had to be related to you, just has to be a US citizen with sufficient US-based income.

Is it possible that she is applying for a different visa? She said that it says on the documents she recieved that she must live with co-sponsor.

On what basis is she applying? If it's marriage as well, she definitely will not have to live with the co-sponsor/joint sponsor. I'm not aware of any type of visa where the immigrant must live with the co-sponsor, but I don't know very much about non-relative based visas.

You do if the co-sponsor is of type Household Member.

The INA does not define a term "Co-Sponsor". It does define the terms Joint Sponsor and Household Member. Read the I-864 and its' instructions to determine which you are using.
