Hey guls n guyz
It's a nightmare to contact US embassy london. Calling that premier number gets u no answer to any question about visa case. All they do is give you a bloody ref. number and londonconsular email address to query.
Have you mailed on this address recently?
How long did it take to get a response from them?
I emailed last Monday for correction of my name on my CR-1 visa, and still no answer besides telling them that I intend to leave the UK permanently very soon.
They replied to my email within two weeks.

I emailed them only a couple of weeks ago. I had to put that ref number in subject. I got an email later that day saying it had been received and that they would reply within 5 days, then next day my email was answered.
