Hi Everybody !
Well not a good start.
I was happy and relieved yesterday when I dropped my application file to TSC, via Express Mail. The post office said I could track it on line and it should get to them today.

Well I just checked the tracking and ............. it says Not delivered - notice was left ..........
at 10.53am (today). another attempted delivery will be made or we will keep the file for 5 days and return it to you !

Well I checked again and again the address .........
the USCIS site says
USCIS TEXAS SERVICE CENTER
PO BOX 850965
Mesquite, TX 75185-0965

I did put attention of I-751 Petition (as recommended by VJ in the guide) after the address

Anybody ever had the same problem ????????
Why would The Center not take the file ........................... I should have put
Attention I-751 Petition to remove conditions of Status ?

I cannot believe it. I just start dealing with USCIS and already a problem...
When I filed for AOS they had lost half of my file !

Well if anybody has any idea please share it with me, I am a little nervous about my letter being lost or returned to me without not knowing the reason........

Just one thought ... I did not check the waiver for signature and realise I sent it to a PO BOX of course, could that be a problem ???

First of all, thank you very much for this very helpful website! Here I have been found all suport and knowledge to submit our petition. I wish the best luck to everybody!

My 90 days window to submit the I-751 started on May,2007 and I would send my aplication on that month, but due to some personal issues, I was able to send the package on june 26th,2007(by USPS certified mail).

The USPS had delivered very fast. On the next day, June 27th, the post-office left a notice at USCIS TSC, since they could not deliver the mail. Today morning(June 28th), I saw at USPS website and it was delivered. So, if anyone has the same experience of post-office " notice left" at TSC don' t panic, because your package will be delivered,ok?!

So thank you for letting me know !
I realise that if it is a PO BOX they almost had to leave a notice ... ! but was not sure if USCIS would bother to actually sign it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! almost regretted I asked for a signature and did not check the waiver.
Anyway I will be patient and check my tracking number tomorrow without panick !
Even If I do not want it to be stressing it still is .......

The USCIS (and most other government offices) live by their own kind of rules - one of which is how sent/registered items are reported. This is very common to see - they get so much mail on a daily basis that it rarely (if ever) shows received - there's really no one that's going to sign for all the packages. As long as you wrote the correct address - and it wasn't returned to you, don't worry - it's more than likely there and getting put in the right place.

Maybe your notice was put in the box after the people had already picked up the deliveries for the day. Hope you get your notice quickly

The day i got the whole application package back for not using the revised Form, i immediately sent it back, overenight via USPS express.

The following day i got the same tracking result! I got mad, but then as i checked again couple of hours it has an update that it was finally delivered on the second attempt.

Ours was delivered on the 2nd attempt too. We had the same problem when we sent our K1 and AOS packages so we didn't panic this time because this seems to be the norm.

You are absolutely right .... the second attempt worked and my letter was received this morning at 5.25am (?) by Mesquite TSC .......... I even have the return receipt since I had asked for it last nite via email ......... so Express Mail works very fast but we have to remember that the first attempt just a notice is left ! Makes sense if it is a PO BOX ...........
Well now we wait for the check to be cash ! step by step ....................
