My Mahal Ko had her interview today and was approved. She said it only took about 5 minutes and the CO only asked a few basic questions about why she wanted to marry me and a little about my family. If you read my previous post you will see I was selected to go to Afghanistan:

Well, yesterday, I was disqualified for a medical condition I have but my command had already requested express processing. The Manila embassy was very good at helping us out. They even accepted my I-134 and other documents as a fax when I had been told they needed the originals.
My Kulet should be able to pick up her visa in a couple days at the embassy but the soonest flight is Sep 2. Still a good 2 weeks before she was even supposed to have her interview in the first place.
To anyone who got pushed back or was otherwise inconvenienced by them moving us up I am sorry but I really did just find out I will not be deployed yesterday.
