Lisa,
He does derive his status from you, but that does not mean that he doesn't need to apply for his own visa. It means that he is allowed to apply for the visa.
Different consulates may differ about 1 sponsorship package covering the K1 and 'traveling with' K2s (or K3 and K4s) or separate sponsorship packages for each. Check with the consulate or wait for someone to answer who has had the experience at your consulate.

Hi guys and thanks for the responses
Yes Yodrak, it was the fact that my son was a derivative of my petition that confused us...we weren't required to pay a an extra fee for him when we submitted the I-129F. Unfortunately there is no mention of his requiring his own visa that needs to be paid for on interview day anywhere on the London Embassy website, or whether he still derives his status from mine. Had he been required to attend the interview I would have probably just assumed he would be issued his own visa. This isn't a big deal particularly, I just want to be prepared on the day.
Also...YuAndDan mention my son would also need his own I-134 affidavit, my fiance has already supplied me with a notarized I-134 and my sons name was included on there. Because of that, I assumed the one affadavit covered both of us...can anyone clarify this for me?
thanks so much for the help.
Lisa
