We did buy a pound of maxwell house - mild - on Friday night, will let you guys know what we think of it. Yeah, I prefer Nabob to MJB, but at least MJB is familiar as we used to buy it when we went to costco sometimes. I have looked at Walmart (my Sister buys hers there in Nebbie), publix and Albertson's so far.

Good morning! I thought I'd brew you a Tim's this morning since I bought a few cans back....



I had a wonderful time back in Saskatoon, but I'm exhausted!!! I see that others have made their way back to Canada as well since I've been gone. trailmix, I buy Maxwell House 100% Columbian here, as it's the only arabica bean coffee that Maxwell House makes...as well, the 100% Columbian coffee that Folgers makes. I'm a coffee snob, so know about the difference between robusta and arabica, and arabica beans are the best. Try either of these blends for some wonderful coffee! I did bring back 2 cans of Nabob Full City as well. It's nice to be home to some green lawns and warm weather. Saskatoon still had snow along the riverbank, and everything is brown, brown brown! Very drab looking. Enjoyed the time with my kids, but visiting the rest of my friends was exhausting. I found myself rushing around all day, and was dropping exhausted into bed every night. Will post a few pics after I've organized myself here in a few days.

Well, so far ye olde Maxwell House that we bought seems to be ok, not bitter, actually it doesn't really taste like too much of anything, can't complain about that, better that than some bitter - something.

So one of the lawn persons is out edging the pathway across from us, they also edged it last week, soon it will be a moat.

Hey trailmix - is there a Trader Joe's in your area? If so, go get their coffee sister. It is THE BEST EVER. I personally vouch for the French Roast and the Bay Blend!!!!!

Yes! I know. I am in Victoria for a three week family wedding planning session *cough* Puh-leeeeaaaase heeeeellllppppp meeeeee*cough*, and this morning I went into the Royal bank to ask for a new debit card since I lost mine, got it, went to the machine and did all manner of useful banking transactions, all in 15 minutes and all for free. I used to complain so bitterly about RBC! Then I went and bought a box of Smarties, picked up a Tim's steeped tea, and girded my loins for the ensuing three hour tent/no tent/huge tent/small tent wedding debate. Perfect first day home!!

I can't wait to get back to the mother land mid june for 3 weeks!!!! 1 week in Calgary, 2 weeks in Saskatoon!! max relax!

My photographer wants me to list specifics that are important to me that I definitely want photographed...

All I can think of is:
- Wedding prep (getting ready)
- Arriving at the church
- Lots in photojournalism style documenting items at our wedding (like the wedding programs sitting at the entrance, the place settings at dinner)
- Lots of candids too..

I think it's important to give him a list of people to ensure he gets as candids. That way you don't end up with 50 shots of your hot friends and none of your grandma or your Great Uncle Joe....

Details of your hair from the back before it gets wrecked by the wind or dancing and before you put your veil on if you are having one (if you are having it up - it's cool to have those photos, because YOU don't really get to see it).

Can he take photos during the ceremony? I love pictures of people in the congregation, as you are saying your vows.

Hey Flames, my Sister and her Husband and Son and the 2 border collies are heading for Calgary on the 21st, they will be there about a month as they are currently selling their house and they want to paint, put some drywall up in the basement, put new floors in the bedrooms upstairs etc etc etc - you could probably participate in like a basement painting party the week you are in Calgary!!

So we were just sitting out on the patio and talking about being in Florida - and I said to my Husband that I still look at people here as 'different'. When a person would walk down the street in Calgary I was comfortable with that person, I 'knew' that person.

Here I see someone and they are 'different', they are .... hard to describe.

So he says 'you are an American'. I say no, I am a Canadian with some American paperwork.

It's funny because when I was a teenager I went to an American School overseas. Then - I wanted to be an American - now I am a Canadian.

Anyway, I then broke in to song, singing O Canada, which was really really lovely
