Called my parents and husband twice (he's at work), then called my daughter's landline, then her cell. Found her at my cousin's birthday party, so I ended up speaking to everybody there. Had to get them off the phone so I could book before the deadline. Good times.

Good Morning! I'm back. Well, at least for today. I'm off again for 2 days to Columbia MO for a training conference for my volunteer work. Should be fun! Had a lovely vacation with my folks! No excitement for me crossing the border, but more than a few tense moments for Gene when we realized the second morning of our drive just before heading out from Lansing to the border that Gene left his passport at home! No BC either. A wonderful lady at the crossing let us through though after a friendly conversation (ie. interrogation). Phew...we didn't think we'd get through, and I'll tell you...there were tears of joy when she let us through...

I've only a little time this morning to catch up before I have to head out, so if I missed anything, I'll pick up where I left off on Wednesday. Have a wonderful day!

Tonight is Coopers last puppy training class. He has to do a trick for the last class- I taught him to jump through a hula hoop- pretty easy, I just throw a treat through and off he goes.

Tomorrow he is going for his little "operation" I know it is a routine operation, but I will spend all day worrying about him.

RIP Coopers balls.

My kitten just had his done monday they look so funny shaved there, but other then that the kitty was back to himself.

His balls are really small so they are really cute right now Nothing is grosser that a dog with big dangly balls that jiggle around when they walk.

When we first got him, Mel said he didn't want to get him neutered. There is no way I will have an unneutered dog, so I got on him pretty hard about it.

Cooper loves going to Vet- I hope he still does after tomorrow.

Cats arent too bad when they get older not like a dog but they still get pretty big and gross too. I also like their personality better after they been altered they get to be bigger babies, well thats always what seems to happen to my animals. Plus all the other reasons to get them neutured is a plus too.

They nice thing about males getting neutered its only 2 tiny cuts, its a little easier then the poor girls. But we still worry either way.

I buy the Starbucks Medium House Blend. It's in the supermarkets and is really quite good. (Considering the alternatives. ) I get decaf and regular, then mix them in a container at home, but they're both good on their own.

Well my Husband got his Green Card today, it actually arrived a couple of days ago - at my Sister's house in Nebbie, she mailed it here. He also got 4 welcome letters and is feeling the love.

Actually apartment guy emailed me the mailbox number on Friday - however on Wednesday we just went up to the mailboxes nearest to our apartment and tried our key in all of them - so we already had it

Oh and I forgot to mention, anyone remember the diamond earring I lost down the bath tub drain a few months ago? A week or two before we left Calgary I was in the bedroom one night, walking out and something sparkly caught my eye. Yes it was my earring imbedded in the carpet!

The vacuum had obviously been over it a few times as the post was bent and the diamond was loose, in fact fell out (not sure why the vacuum didn't pick it up but anyhoo).

Still need to get it repaired - but I found it!!

If that wasn't so funny I'd feel silly.
