Your shopping expeditions are hilarious. I did exactly the same at Fresh Market recently. Retraced every single step but could not find the stupid list. I think Laura had been by with her invisible helichopper.

She didn't have what I had in mind so suggested I go to Walmart. I kinda of blinked for a moment and then said "PLEEEEEASE don't make me go to Walmart. Anywhere but there." A huge wave of relief kind of washed over her face as she said "Oh thank GOD you said that. I know it's really un-American of me but I just can't STAND Walmart." It was a really nice bonding experience for the two of us.

Ahhhhh, Florida Walmart stores. Where do I begin? Let's see.....

You could avoid that problem with giving up the goods on where you get the cat pictures.

Dents at Wal-mart? Only once, McKeesport, PA and it was about 2" deep and a foot in diameter in my nice green Oldsmobile. I don't think it was a shopping cart though.

Saskatchewan thunderstorms were awesome eh? It's the "midwest" here, but too many rolling hills to be called "prairie". And the fact that it was at midnight until about 3 am that we had them...couldn't see the terrain very well.

trailmix...it must be your excitement about getting all these things done, but you're energy is amazing! You seem thrilled to be cleaning now... wow, what a woman!

maybe I'm a bit chirpier in print than I am here haha. But I am feeling better about the whole thing at this point, I think getting the kitchen packed was good, now we have done the bulk of every room it seems manageable.

I am in a bit of a better mood today. MATILDA didn't show up for work yesterday , after having the classiest (a-ha) burst of diva-ness in front of everyone and running off crying... sheesh. I actually like it better when the waltzing queen is not around. Now, don't get all fussed up, you know I am all about being an activist for gay rights; but this one really gets under my nerves... nothing to do with his sexuality, but with his professionalism, or lack thereof.

Tomorrow it's back to Spawn Cafe --- hope it gets better...

Have a question for everyone here. My family from Canada and us in the US are planning a family type reunion for Christmas. Originally we were looking at Peurto Vallarta but I think now it is going to be Punta Cana in the Dominican. Anyone been there? If so any place you would recommend (that is an all-inclusive)? My Canadian relatives are going to go charter so they can't book yet, but here in the US we need to book this month and I am anxious to get as much information as possible in order to make a decision. Any help is appreciated?
