Finally, after almost two years, we have an appointment with Immigration in Baltimore.
So that would make my time line:
Application received in Vermont: October 2006
Application forwarded to Baltimore: June 2007
Notification of appointment in Baltimore: August 2007.
I hope we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

2 years? It seems to me like you filed 10 months ago. What happened prior to October 2006? Are you including your length of relationship? Or did you need to refile or something? At any rate, its still a loooong wait. Congrats! best of luck on the rest of your journey.

My mistake. He's been here two years August 19th. We didn't file until October 2006 because that is when we got married.
We were under the very misguided notion that green cards are easy to come by. I work in construction and it seems like
half our laborers have them. I just hope this is the end of the road with all this. It's been a long wait.
