My fiance made a stupid mistake. He said he is willing to marry within 90days after MY arriving instead of HER arriving. He has already sent the application. I hope that the immigration won't care too much and make it a big deal. Has anyone experienced the same ? I am sooo worried.

That should not be a problem. You will do provide updated intent to marry letters to the consular officer at the visa interview.

I hope it will be okay. Maybe they will over look that part anyway.

Lets hope they are all illiterate and dont notice that part smile.gif ofcorse if i was reading it, i would take it as a slipup and not bother with the mistake. i think you will be ok biggrin.gif

i don't know how attentive to detail they are in japan but i experienced a similar problem my attorney prepped my docs for how/when we met that accompanies the intent to marry document and included a visit that didn't even happen. i of course blindly trusted and didn't read the letter (idiot) and noticed when i was reviewing the docs later. we were prepared to tell the (and i even typed a supplemental doc)CO who never even looked at the letter or my passport copies. so don't worry too much. your error is very minor and i bet it happens more often than people think
