I was reading the instructions for Form 1-129F. It said, Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A for you and a completed and signed from G-325A for your fiance. Except for bane abd signature, you do not have to repeat on the Biographical Information form the information given on your Form I-129F.
Does it mean that G325 is not too important? I filled out all parts and signed but I forgot to write I-129F. I just put I-129 which was wrong. Anyone knows?

In addition, I am totally confused. Both my fiance who is USC and I have to prove that we are both free to marry. He can simply send the copy of his birth certificate. Do I have to send my birth certificate? Does it really need? It is not on the check list. I did not send my birth certificate because i thought that i need it when i have an interview at the embassy. Anyone knows? I think that only if one of each or both of us have been married before, we have to send a proof that we are free to marry.

G-325A comes in 4 copies when you print it so you just fill up on the computer the first page and your entries will automatically be reflected in the other 3 pages EXCEPT for the signature because you have to write that down yourself . This form is very important so you must submit it. . all 4 copies that will come out when you print and the affix your signature . .for both.

Proof that you are free to marry - if you have been previously married then you have to submit divorce decrees to the USCIS . . if you have not been married before then a statement of that sort will suffice. For example in the Philippines, a lady who has not been married can obtain a Certificate of No Marriage from their National Statistics Office and that is enough proof that she is free to marry.

I dont know how it works in your countr (Japan) so maybe you can ask the office that registers births, deaths and marriages if you can obtain a certification that you have never contracted marriage with anybody before.

Hope this helps
