I know it's on here some where but just can't find it, Anyway our NOA1 was June 7th but haven't had any touches or nothing, has anyone else on here get approved without touches? But man I wish they would touch us hate this not knowing! Trying to be patient but sure would be nice to see some movement! I know alot of others are saying the samething! You know the old saying misery loves company well VJ is a really good place to be LOL!!!

i think its about 3 months before you get a touch or two and then approval. your NOA1 is june so its still early for you. there are feb and march filers still waiting for a NOA2 from what i have seen on the list. i'd look for touches around end of sept.

I didn't get any touches, before approval. It's different for everyone. Though, I'm sure it's fine not to get any touches, don't worry.

We did not get any touches for our K-1. Then one day we got approval. Its easy to say now, but be patient.

patience you should get some sort of notice soon , and if you think waiting for NOA 2 for 3 month is long , be prepared to waite 5-7 month after you package 3 is send back to montreal .Montreal has a 5-7 month backlog from when they get the package 3 from benefitionary to interview date ,
thats when you will realy get tested on patience, hang in thats all we can do here good luck Lona

we didnt get any touches until 3 weeks prior to getting our NOA2 then it was full steam ahead after that.......... i was like you... anxious - thinking something was wrong.......... and we didnt get any RFE'S either which was good.

No reply from Congressman since they said they were sending another inquiry. According to the csc we are in background checks...I guess because his name is Mohammed. When the processing times update again I can ask for a formal inquiry...until then we are just waiting...impatiently...

Jeez. That's got to be the worst feeling. I thought you were already past their posted processing times? Or are they saying you have to wait until another update before you can formally enquire?

That is what they said because right now they are processing cases filed in my month....so on the 16th or 18th whenever it updates and goes to February 13 or whatever then I can file a formal appeal....I paid a lawyer all that money to be told by him it'll happen when it happens and this is the way things are....Oh well.

I am new to this site and had receipt of my K1 in early June. Can someone tell me what "touches" means?

I sent out my very first package including the I129F and G325 along with passport photos, e-mail correspondence, copies of divorce papers, birth certificates, yet I have not got anything from the government. I sent in the backage on June 6 and after calling them, they said they received the package and check on June 12. They gave me a receipt number but I do not know where to go to check status with this number. Any help would be appreciative. This is for the K-1 Fiancee Visa for my fiancee from Russia and the immigration office is in California.

Go here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp to check your status on the USCIS website. A touch is when your last updated date changes.

I have a question about touches. I have called USCIS a couple of times trying to get my NOA1 sent to me. Sept. 4 I called using the RFE trick and was told the file was still pending and had not been assigned yet. The date on the USCIS website has never updated since may 31, 2007 even after my previous calls. After the call sept. 4 my update changed on sept.5 and again on sept 6, is this because of the call sept.4? I'm confused. Still never got the NOA1 either.
