I am from Malaysia, applying K1 fiance visa, and still waiting for NOA2 to be approval, submitted my case since 20th of Apr, and my last updated date is 24th of Apr (NOA1). My fiance tried to call USCIS and asked why our case is taking so long to process (so do others), but he said the phone call is an automated phone call, do you guys know the number to call them with people talking on the phone?

And I already requested my police reports from Malaysia and UK (was stuyding there before for more than 3 years) together with my case submitted to USCIS, and got my Malaysia & UK police reports at mid of Apr, and mid of May respectively. Can I know how long is the police report valid for? Am worried and dunno if I should request for an update report since my NOA2 has not been approved yet.

I am still worried about my k1 visa, I just hope everything goes well, and get approval very soon. Good luck for all of us who is waiting for the visas.

Police reports are vaild 1 year, I think. Don't worry, most of the April filers are still waiting for NOA2. Best of luck for your journey.

You know, around a few years back, a K-1 petition took on avg 6-8 months. Sometimes in 2-3 months but even though you had seen members who had their case approved quick doesn't mean yours should either. You have to remember that each case is different and depending on who's file is on USCIS's desk. You'll just have to be patient for a little while longer.

Validity varies by country. Some are only valid for 3 months, while others are valid for 6 months or a year.
