Hey I was wondering what everybody thought about the relative question for the K-1 interview.
Do you have any family in the US? So if my fiance has a cousin in the US is that something he needs to explain to the Peruvian consulate if he does not have any immediate family living in the US?
Thanks, ya'll

They can and do pop trick questions.

In our case the Consular officer asked my fiancee "How many children does your husband have" answer "He is my fiancee and he has no children"

jenny_roser,

If the question is asked it needs to be answered.

Be sure to listen carefully and understand what the question is asking (as illustrated by YuAndDan's post). If unsure, ask for the question to be repeated or re-phrased.
