hello everyone,,
My question is regarding the proof of ongoing relationship. I have read the reivews of interviews @ delhi, mumbai etc. but I didn't get answer to my question. I wanted to know, how interested they are @ looking at the evidence. basically, I sent my wife one of the voip phones (sunrocket, $200/yr unlimited talking smile.gif so we have always talked on that. We hardly email each other. In last 8 months I have emailed her abt 2 times. we never chat on yahoo as well. I just have few call logs from Reliance and some cards I sent her. do they expect to see more emails/chats logs at the time of the interview? any tips will be appreciated..
thanks..

soni1952,
Did you go visit your spouse since you petitioned for her? I would take proof of that (i.e. itiinerary, flight stubs, hotel receipts, pics together, etc.) if you have them...

Having email and chat record is good idea but it really depends from case to case. Dont worry Keep everything organized and you should be fine. If you have phone logs of outbound and inbound calls from Sunrocket VOIP then its good. I notice Sunrocket went out of business this year so hurry and get your records updated by calling the company or going online to download Billing statements before they put their site or company totally out of business. (Proof like return flight ticket, shopping, pictures before and after can be usefull at time of interview)

My wife had an interview yesterday at Mumbai and she brought with her our wedding album and honeymoon pics along with marriage invitation card. I also sent her bunch of call logs and few greeting cards for her to take. But guess what, they didn't ask for single thing. They asked her only 3 questions and she was approved. I guess it all depends on who is taking the interview and how his/her mood is that day. So my thoughts for you is not to stress too much about it and collect as much as you can. Here are the questions they asked my wife if you are curious:

1. How long have we been married?
2. Where did we go for honeymoon?
3. Who is sponsoring you?

Proof of an ongoing relationship is very important. We used phone bills that listed Claudeth's phone number, letters, cards, Yahoo messenger, etc.

Soni1952, others gave good advice about what to submit, specifically any phone records you have, the few emails sent, plane tickets, encashment receipts, itinerary of your visits with each other, and photos of you together and with relatives or friends. Usually they never ask to see anything much at the interview, mostly only photos, so be sure you bring any photos you have. We only had 6 photos in existence of us together and we sent the same ones with the I-129F, gave to the VFS office, and showed at the interview too. yes.gif
