In case this might be of help to others:
I posted my N400 to Texas on Thursday 26 July (first day I became eligible).
I used Express Mail ($19)
Packet arrived next day, Friday 27, at 11.35 (after they had cleared the PO box it seems)
Not recorded as received until Monday 30 July.
It's not worth paying for Express Mail by the look of this.
I'll update as soon as things start moving. To date( 7 August) they haven't cleared my cheque.
I'm expecting a longer wait than those people who were able to start their applications a few weeks ago - there will have been a flood of applications to avoid the fee increase.
