I sent my I-751 by USPS certified Mail Return Receipt on July 28 with the old fees. But the USPS website only gives the following status even after 9 days.

"Your item arrived at 8:09 AM on July 31, 2007 in LINCOLN, NE 68501. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later".

Does that mean the NSC already received it or the NSC is yet to pick up the mail from their P.O. Box?

Any revelations, please?

I sent my package the day you did, with signature confirmation. On Saturday we got our signature confirmation in the mail. So, I'm sure it has been received and it is now sitting somewhere on top of a large pile right next to our.

By the way how long does it take for NSC to cash our checks?

Ours was sent priority mail on 7/28 with delivery confirmation and this is how our confirmation read:

I agree that they are sitting on a desk awaiting processing. Our check has not been cashed yet.

They have not cashed our checks yet.

So it seems like our three applications are together. I don't have a clue how long it will take to cash our checks. It looks like a couple of things could happen based on what I have read.

1. Our applications get forwarded to another service center for faster processing.
2. Our applications sit at NSC for a long time.

If our apps get sent to another service center, maybe we will see the checks cashed sometime soon. Otherwise, if we stay at NSC...it could take the better part of a month to cash the check. But I'm guessing.

bump... wondering if you folks have had your checks cashed yet. Nothing here.

Ours was sent on june 29 and when I checked it online at USPS website the tracking said it was delievred but USCIS received and confirmed it after 6 days...

Wow! That was fast...especially for NSC. Congrats on your 10 year card!

I have a feeling with the fee increase they are overwhelmed now so it will take those who have applied recently longer (most likely alot longer).

HI to all I have a question is it possible to apply for I-485 AOS while you are still waiting for your case pending I-1751 ROCS? It tooks a year from me I haven't recieve my Green card they said it has been reviewing from the FBI for name check it's been 3 years already my case is still pending since we file the I-1751 form last Nov. 2004. Anybody knows about it. I do appreciate it!

Good News, my check was cashed on Aug 17th. Deposited for collection on Aug 15th and cleared the bank on Aug 17th.

And the exciting news is that the application has been sent to CSC.

Hopefully it gets processed soon.

How could you tell it was being transferred to CSC? Something on the back of the cashed check?

AND THE SAME FOR US!!! We got our Notice of Action in the mail today!! It was transferred to the CSC also! WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!

Odd thing, the Notice Date on the NOA1 is really early. The put a date of 07/27/2007 and I didn't even send it until 07/28/2007.

[size="4"]I sent in my I-751 on 7/28/07 to NSC and I got my Notice of Action today 8/20/07 from California Service Center.
The notice date on the receipt was 7/28/07 as well. So I have no idea how the notice date became like that.
The good news is the case is now moving forward.
From reading the previous posts, it seems that most of 7/28/07 applications had been processed by California center.

Still nothing here...no cashed check or NOA1. Hoping the fact that according to the USPS it was delivered to the PO Box at 1:50am on July 31 has nothing to do with it.

If they send this package back to me for any reason I will not be a happy camper.

Finally the check has shown up as going thru the bank

Petition sent on April 2nd, check cashed April 5th. And no indication that there's been a transfer to CSC. That pisses me off that once again petitions that are filed after ours get transferred while our's sits around getting moldy.

Just noticed our Notice also has a date of 27th which is the day we put it in the post box ............ darn they are good telepathic no less

I agree, it sucks. Not even moving to CA helps, we lived in Oregon when we filed (Jan -07) but the petiton was not transferred.

We are finally cashed and from the looks of the back of the check transferred to CSC...I knew if I complained enough it would finally get done!

Our NOA also has a date of the 27th, which coincidentally is the same date we entered on the form and the same date we mailed in the petition. I don't know if they went by the form date or the postmark date.

Anyone from this group or elsewhere with receipt dates on or around 7/28/07 received a biometrics notice yet?

7/28/2007 : sent I-751 to NSC
8/20/2007: Received NOA1 from CSC.
8/30/2007: Received appoinment letter for biometric for 9/8/2007 Chicago.

Received my biometrics appointment letter today 8/30/07

Appointment set for 9/14/07 woohooooo.......

Everything is sailing smoothly so far.

Biometrics appt letter received today 8/30/07...appointment scheduled for 09/13/2007 8am.

YEP! We got our biometrics letter today also! Appointment on the 10th!

LOL Looks like we started a trend I almost feeling sorry for all the postmen rushing around today
