NVC new hampshire - terrorists used a gas against a government office.

The gas leaves the victims sat at their desks with their eyes and mouths wide open and unable to move...

It was only today that the effects were noticed when a security guard saw an immigration clerk with a file in front of him which was dated 'May1st'

Luckily the gas slows down metabolism to almost a standstill so the clerk had not starved to death but was in a state of 'suspended animation'

The only antidote appears to be 'sackemal' - a drug derived from the oil used to maintain robots

longer delays than usual in work output from this office are expected

A departmental spokesman said - we will keep the public and media up to date about this attack by posting a report in 6 to 8 weeks. If you don't receive the report, ask for a copy which will take a further 3 months...

yes you are right - it should be 'off topic' but I looked down the list of posts in the last few days and it seems everyone is depairing about delays even more than usual...

I wonder if it is annual vacation or kids off school or something that has stopped the nvc in its tracks...

Apparently it now takes 2 weeks to leave the NVC even after the case is complete - it must be a case of the corridors being too long - anyway it's all a lost cause to me because the royal mail is on strike so the embassy will not be able to contact me anyway for the medical/interview

I know the nvc staff are getting irritated too - one of them stamped on a snail yesterday and said he got angry because it had been 'following me around all day'

ok back to counting sheep...

Yep, it's August in New Hampshire. The entire NVC staff was spotted on Hampton Beach having their annual Beach BBQ. I could tell it was them because they kept sending people to the other side of the beach to pick up Hot Dog Form A-76005 before they could get any corn on the cob...
