I just got an e-mail from the US embassy informing me that her interview is on September 5, 2007.....SSWWWEEETT!!! So psyched...my wife and i have waited long enough. I will try to organize my papers to the best of my abilities. Thank you all for posting your experiences on the forums especially MrsAyilliath cause like i said before it was very encouraging reading your visa experience. Yes, it was long, but it was very thorough. It answered most of my doubts and concerns. After reading everybody's experiences i realized i was not the only one in this boat. I'm glad i'm not alone.
Tips for organizing my paper will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Sumeet
ps:- I will try to remember to breathe.

Sumeet,
When we prepared for the interview, I took different folders containing different things: For example- I had a folder for nothing but financial things (e.g. I134, taxes and w-2's, copy of job letter etc), a folder for nothing but evidence (pictures, ticket stubs, passport copies showing entries and exits, cards phone records etc) , a folder for biographical things etc. I made sure to label these properly the night before so we wouldn't be fumbling around for things in our nervousness. I'm glad we did because the folders definitely came in handy and I was able to pull out the documents we needed quickly when they were asked for. Hope this little tip helps.
Oh yeah, if you're going to be with your spouse during the interview, definitely take something to read to get your mind off of the process as much as possible. I took a few magazines and books that helped pass the waiting time.
