Full Version: DCF... Possible after K1 Petition

Hi everyone,

I know this might sounds out of reach...but I still wanted to ask this question...

As you can see in my timeline, I applied for a K1 visa in March of 2005. My fiance is under security check ever since the case was sent to NVC. sad.gif Is it possible at this time to go for DCF? Would we have the same issue (security clearance)? Or because my fiance is under security check right now we can't go for DCF....

I hope I'm making sense....

I appreciate your input.... yes.gif

if you don't live there, I don't think so -but I don't know if Germany does DCF...read the guides and check to see if they do - or e-mail and ask.

Whatever you do READ THE GUIDE smile.gif it's very informative

Thank you for your response. I will check into it. yes.gif

1) The USC must be a resident of Germany in order to do a DCF for their spouse there.

2) They will perform the same security checks whether the process is a DCF or a K1. Switching processing types is not going to save you time... it will cost you time because you will have to start from scratch.

Exactly what I was going to say.
